Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect the battery from weight. |
2. Merge a liquid. |
| 3. Disconnect a hose of a radiator and remove the top casing of the fan. |
| 4. Remove the fan with муфтой and store not breaking working position. |
| 5. Remove belts of hinged units. |
| 6. Remove a pulley of the fan from the cooling pump. |
| 7. Disconnect from the pump of cooling a heater hose. |
| 8. Turn away bolts, having paid attention to their arrangement, and remove the cooling pump. |
| 9. Turn away a bolt and a stripper press a pulley коленвала. |
| 10. Remove a cover of a head of cylinders. |
| 11. Turn out from a head of cylinders of 2 forward bolts of fastening of a cover of a chain. |
| 12. Turn out bolts of fastening of the pallet, the chains screwed in a cover. |
| 13. Turn away bolts and remove a cover, having destroyed consolidation by the sharp tool. If at cover removal the forward part of a lining of the pallet accurately cut out this part заподлицо with the block of cylinders has been damaged. |
| 14. Replace a forward epiploon, accurately having got it and запрессовав new оправкой MD998376–01 or MB990938–01. |
| 15. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder in ВМТ a compression step (коромысла should rock freely within a backlash). |
| 16. Remove 3 успокоителя, resting against a platen chain виброгасителя, having marked each of fastening bolts. |
| 17. Remove a small chain from the platen виброгасителя and from the oil pump. If the chain does not give in, turn away bolts and remove asterisks together with a chain. Remove шпонки (if are provided). Pay attention to orientation of asterisks. |
| 18. Remove 1st asterisk коленвала. |
| 19. Fix a wire плунжер натяжителя in the case of the oil pump. |
| 20. Turn away a bolt and remove an asterisk of a cam-shaft and a gear wheel of a drive of the distributor of ignition. It is possible to remove also a chain together with asterisks коленвала and a cam-shaft. |
| 21. Remove успокоители, keep all bolts and washers in a former order. |

Installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Believe a chain condition, at detection of the worn out links a chain replace. Replace worn out плунжер натяжителя together with a sealant and a spring. Replace успокоители if in them deep furrows were formed. At visible deterioration of teeths replace asterisks |
| 2. Establish left and right успокоители. |
| 3. Dress a chain on asterisks коленвала and a cam-shaft, having combined labels with the anodized links of a chain. Dress an asterisk on коленвал, and a cam-shaft asterisk fix on the holder. |
| 4. Dress a cam-shaft asterisk, having passed a pin in an aperture and tighten a bolt with the moment 54 Н.м. |
| 5. Remove a wire with натяжителя and pull a chain. |
| 6. Dress a small chain together with asterisks, having combined labels and links with distinctive colouring (asterisks to establish, not breaking their former arrangement). |
| 7. Dress a gear wheel of Century |
|
8. Dress a small chain on an asterisk коленвала. Having combined with a label 3 the anodized link. Dress on the platen and the oil pump other asterisks, slightly tighten bolts (1, 2 – to a chain; 3 – asterisk installation on the left platen; 4 – asterisk installation on a neck of a leading gear wheel of the oil pump). |

9. Turn both asterisks of a small chain and the oil pump, expose a place of the greatest weak point in point Р on an illustration.

| 10. Establish успокоители a small chain and adjust top успокоитель () so that a backlash between a chain and успокоителем there were 0,2–0,8 mm. Tighten a bolt with the moment 19 Н.м. |
| 11. Establish all removed details. At installation of covers check up a condition of linings. Cut out a part of a remote lining and establish, having greased a joint hermetic. Tighten bolts of a cover of a chain with the moment 14 Н.м., a bolt коленвала – 119 Н.м., pallet bolts – 5 Н.м., forward bolts of a head of cylinders – 19 Н.м. After engine start-up hear to noise from a chain. If unusual noise stop the engine are distributed and check up installation and a chain tension. After the termination adjust belts of a drive of hinged units. |
