The regulator raises stability of the loaded car at sharp braking and is mounted in a back part of a frame. Valve work is defined by a tension of a spring which presses on the lever with certain effort. On the unloaded car established on an equal platform, the length of a spring measured across should be 224–228 mm.
Removal and installation
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Disconnect a spring. |
| 2. Designate and disconnect tubes. |
| 3. Turn away bolts and remove a regulator. |
| 4. At installation tighten the union of tubes with the moment 17 Н.м., adjust a spring and pump over brakes. |
